READY+ Partners Unite to Boost HIV Peer-led Response in Malawi
Key stakeholders under the READY+ case management program, a MACRO project, have gathered in Lilongwe for a high-impact Malawi Partners Meeting aimed at accelerating HIV and AIDS interventions among Adolescents and Young People living with or most affected by HIV (AYPLHIV).
The meeting being held from August 5 to 6, brings together partners including Zvandiri, Pediatric AIDS Treatment for Africa (PATA), Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative (REPSSI), and Y+ Global to review progress, finalise workplans, and strengthen the READY+ model, an innovative youth-focused approach supporting Malawi’s national HIV response.
READY+ continues to make strides in increasing access to Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services, improving ART adherence, and promoting mental health through peer-led and youth friendly services, all while empowering young people living with or most affected by HIV to lead healthier lives.
As discussions continue, the meeting marks a strong commitment to scaling up proven solutions and building resilient, HIV-free generation.
